GreenLife Bamboo expands plastic-free stick range to 129 stocked sizes
GreenLife Bamboo has expanded its plastic-free bamboo stick range to 129 stocked sizes, covering every stick format restricted under India's single-use plastic rules. All sizes are cut, gauged, polished and kiln dried in the company's own Bengaluru unit to ±0.1 mm diameter tolerance and under 12% moisture, and ship factory direct nationwide.
What has changed
The range now spans skewers from 2.5 to 6.0 mm in lengths from 150 to 450 mm, flat kulfi and ice-cream sticks from 93 to 150 mm, coffee stirrers in 90, 110, 120 and 140 mm, chopsticks from 180 to 240 mm, and bamboo-stick ear buds. Inner packs hold 200 pieces up to 3.5 mm, 100 pieces at 4.0 and 5.0 mm and 50 pieces at 6.0 mm, keeping carton dimensions constant across the range so buyers can plan storage from a single footprint.
Why size coverage matters to buyers
Food-service buyers replacing restricted plastic items rarely need one stick — they need the exact diameter their menu or their inserter was built around. Gaps in a supplier's size ladder are the usual reason a kitchen keeps buying plastic for one line while switching the rest. Covering the ladder end to end removes that reason.
Manufacturing and compliance
Every stage from culm crosscutting to packing runs in house. Sticks are mechanically polished rather than chemically treated, so the finished product is untreated cellulose that composts at end of life. Skewers and kulfi sticks are invoiced under HSN 1401 and paddle and flag picks under HSN 4602, giving buyers the documentary evidence an audit asks for.
